Alternative data API — a social time series with its own clock
The archive is a series, not a snapshot. Each point says when it was collected and over what interval, because a series whose spacing you cannot see is not a series.
The problem
A signal is only alternative data if it is comparable over time. Numbers scraped on demand have no clock attached, so two readings a week apart cannot be divided by anything you trust.
