Best Linktree API for reading a link page
Linktree has no follower count — it is not a number anyone failed to read, it does not exist on the platform. So a vendor that returns one for it is returning something it invented.
What to require of any vendor here
- Ask what it returns for followers. The honest answer is `null`, because Linktree is a page of links and has no follow graph. A number here is the clearest single test of whether a vendor fills columns it cannot measure.
- Ask where the link order comes from. Linktree's internal values are a sparse key, not a rank. A vendor publishing them as a position has turned an identifier into a ranking it never was; the honest version is a derived index starting at one, and says so.
Where the number actually lives
We read null from public page, logged out — no follower field exists. Handle format: Linktree username: letters, digits, dot, hyphen and underscore.
What you are handing over
Linktree is a page, not an API, and the page changes shape without notice. What you are handing over is reading the list correctly every time the layout moves, and keeping the order the owner chose.
What this does not return
- No followers, following or post count. Linktree does not publish them, so the four metric fields are null — the value of this profile is the list, not a number.
- No position from the platform. position is derived from the order the links arrive in; these seven carry the platform values 1, 28, 33, 34, 35, 41 and 60, which is a sparse key, not a rank.
- No thumbnails and no tracking parameters. The image URLs are CDN links that expire, and the campaign parameters on some links belong to whoever built them, not to the link.
Our endpoints for this platform — 1

Shape, parameters and the errors each one returns are in the endpoint reference, and this platform has its own page with the recorded response.
What the alternatives cost
We do not restate competitor prices here. The vendor pages carry them — 35 of them — each price read on that vendor's own page, with the date we read it. Readings run from 2026-09-05 to 2026-10-03.
A price copied into a second place is a price that will disagree with itself the first time a vendor changes one. Verify on their page before deciding — we are an interested party.
Reading Linktree yourself is the part above. Reading it through one call is the part we sell.
