Outstand: $19 for 3,000 posts, and the pricing page is a 404

Disclosure: I’m building a product in this space. No affiliation, no affiliate links, nobody paid to be here.

Prices checked 2026-10-02. Third-party pricing changes without notice — figures here will drift, and the source page wins over this one.

Outstand is a unified social media API aimed at AI agents, covering twelve platforms — X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business and Vimeo among them.

It is the closest competitor on this page to our own positioning, and it prices in the cleanest unit of anybody here.

What it costs

Plan Price/month Posts included Overage
Pay as you go $19 3,000 $0.007/post to 10k, then $0.005
Business $129 50,000 $0.005/post

Both plans include unlimited connected accounts and no seat licences — their words: "Start with 3,000 posts on Pay as you go or 50,000 on Business. No seat licenses."

Per post, that is $0.0063 at the Pay-as-you-go base and $0.0026 at Business — and because the unit is a post rather than a call or a credit, those numbers mean the same thing at both tiers. That is rarer on this page than it should be.

⚠️ outstand.so/pricing returns 404

The prices above are on their home page. The URL you would guess — /pricing — returns HTTP 404. We mention it because if you go looking to verify these numbers and hit the 404, the prices are not gone; they are one level up.

Where we actually overlap

Both of us sell read access to public social data, in one response shape, metered by usage, aimed at agents. That is the same sentence, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The real differences:

Platform list. They cover twelve including LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Business and Vimeo. We cover eleven and none of those four. For LinkedIn specifically, we have nothing and the competitor here who did is gone.

The unit. They meter posts. We meter calls with a published per-endpoint cost, and a call can return many posts — so for high-volume post retrieval their unit is likely cheaper and for single-field profile lookups ours likely is. Which wins depends entirely on your access pattern, and anyone who tells you otherwise without seeing your traffic is guessing.

The archive. We keep an hourly history of what is rising and never delete it. Nothing in their published material suggests they do, and that is the question we built the product around: what gained traction, which cannot be reconstructed later because the past was not photographed.

Who it's for

If your product publishes or reads across twelve networks and bills per post, Outstand's shape matches yours and the $19 entry is genuinely cheap for 3,000 posts.

If you need LinkedIn or Facebook, they have them and we do not — that is a straight answer, not a hedge.

If you need to know whether something is accelerating, neither a post meter nor a credit meter answers that; an archive does.

Where it is better than us

Four platforms we do not serve, including the two most requested.

Unlimited connected accounts with no seat licence — a pricing shape that suits agency and multi-tenant products better than ours.

Post economics at volume. $0.0026 per post at Business is hard to beat if posts are what you consume.

The legal part

Same ground, same case law. Twelve platforms is a broader surface than eleven, and LinkedIn in particular is where this category's enforcement history is sharpest.

We publish our line on public versus personal data and a removal route, and we will not characterise theirs for them.

Who measured this

We did, and this is the most direct competitor on the page — so treat our framing with the suspicion that deserves, and check the two prices, which are theirs.

The per-post figures are our arithmetic on their numbers. The platform-list difference is the fact we would most want a buyer to notice, and it is the one that favours them.

Plan prices, post allowances, overage rates and the "no seat licenses" quote read from outstand.so on 2 October 2026 — primary source, read directly from the home page, because outstand.so/pricing returns HTTP 404. The $0.0063 and $0.0026 per-post figures are our arithmetic on their numbers. The twelve-platform list is theirs, quoted and not independently verified. Verify before deciding.

The one thing none of them do

Every tool here answers what’s trending right now. HonestHook keeps the history, so it can answer what’s rising — and what’s already dying.
