Supadata: the price we checked twice, 23 days apart

Disclosure: I’m building a product in this space. No affiliation, no affiliate links, nobody paid to be here.

Prices checked 2026-10-02. Third-party pricing changes without notice — figures here will drift, and the source page wins over this one.

Supadata sells transcript and social data behind a credit meter, with the smallest paid entry point in this comparison: $5 a month, annual-only.

It is also the one competitor on this page whose price we have now read twice, 23 days apart, which turns out to be the most interesting thing about it.

What it costs

Plan Price/month Credits/month Per 1,000 credits
Free $0 100 —
Basic $5 (annual only, $60/yr) 300 $16.67
Pro $17 3,000 $5.67
Mega $47 30,000 $1.57
Giga $297 300,000 $0.99
Supa $897 1,000,000 $0.90
Enterprise custom any volume —

Prices are shown in USD, taxes not included. Every plan has a discounted yearly variant except Basic, which is annual-only.

The part that is actually worth reporting

We measured $17 / 3,000 = $5.67 per 1,000 on 9 September 2026. We read the same page again on 2 October 2026. The number was identical, to the cent.

That sounds like a non-event. It is the opposite: it is the only way to know whether a comparison page is still true. We publish conferido on every page here precisely because a competitor's price is a fact with a shelf life, and a page that does not date its reading is a page that cannot tell you whether it has gone stale.

This repository has the scar: until 23 September 2026 these pages attributed the measurement to the publication date rather than the reading date. Two different facts wearing the same number.

Where the credit stops being comparable

A Supadata credit and a ScrapingBee credit are not the same unit, and the 75.7× gap between $5.67 and $0.075 is mostly that, not margin.

Their credit buys processed output — a transcript, a structured record. A general scraper's credit buys a fetch. Dividing one by the other produces a number that looks like a comparison and is not one.

The honest comparison is per answered question, and that depends on which question you are asking. We say so rather than publishing a league table whose ordering comes from unit definitions.

Who it's for

The $5 Basic tier is the cheapest way into this category, and 300 credits a month is a real budget for a side project that needs tens of lookups, not thousands.

Where it stops fitting is the shape of the question. Supadata answers what is this thing — give it a URL, get a record. It does not answer what gained traction, because that needs a history that was captured hour by hour and never deleted, and no amount of credits buys a measurement nobody took.

Where it is better than us

The entry price. $5/month annual-only is below anything we offer, and below our own free tier's practical ceiling for someone who needs 300 lookups and nothing else.

Transcripts. We have no transcript endpoint and no plan to grow one; that is their category, not ours.

Volume rate. $0.90 per 1,000 at the top tier is cheaper than our per-credit cost at comparable volume.

The legal part

Same ground as everyone here: public pages, no login, no reseller in between is the claim most of this category makes, and the enforcement risk sits with whoever makes the request.

We publish where we think the line is and a removal route. We do not know their position in detail and we are not going to characterise it from the outside.

Who measured this

We did, twice, and we compete with them — so the two numbers to check are theirs, and the division is arithmetic you can redo.

The September reading is in our own notes (vault/projeto/04-numeros.md) and the October reading is on this page. We are publishing the agreement between them because a comparison page whose prices were read once, at an unstated time, is indistinguishable from one that was guessed.

What we run is an hourly archive of what's rising. What we sell is one response shape across eleven platforms — a different question from the one Supadata answers well.

Plan prices and credit counts read from supadata.ai/pricing on 2 October 2026 — primary source, read directly from the page. The same page was read on 9 September 2026 and the Pro tier was identical: $17 for 3,000 credits. The per-1,000 column is our arithmetic on their numbers. The tax note and the annual-only Basic restriction are quoted from the same page. Verify before deciding.

The one thing none of them do

Every tool here answers what’s trending right now. HonestHook keeps the history, so it can answer what’s rising — and what’s already dying.
