Where this goes wrong.

There are two stats objects on the page. stats is rounded; statsV2 is not. They sit side by side, and the rounded one is the one a reader finds first. Same trap as followerCount against the page text on Medium.

Cost

1 credit per call. A call that finds nothing costs nothing.

What is the difference between stats and statsV2?

statsV2 carries the unrounded numbers. stats is rounded. Both are on the same page.

What happens on a handle that does not exist?

TikTok can serve a challenge page with HTTP 200 and no profile data. The userInfo anchor catches that instead of parsing it.
