The HonestHook MCP server, in 5 clients
One remote endpoint — https://honesthook.com/api/mcp — and 12 tools. 5 of them answer with no key and cost nothing, so an agent can ask what the API covers before anyone signs up for anything.
| Client | How it takes a remote server |
|---|---|
| Cursor | .cursor/mcp.json |
| VS Code | .vscode/mcp.json |
| Claude Code | .mcp.json |
| Windsurf | ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json |
| Claude Desktop | Settings, not a file |
The 12 tools

The ones marked spends credits are not flagged read-only on purpose: they debit the key and write a snapshot, so a client should ask you before calling them on its own. That absence is an assertion, not an oversight — it is written down in the server itself.
Ask it something
Once a client has the server, this works in plain language:
Which platforms can HonestHook read, and what does a handle look like on each one?
That answers from list_platforms — no key, no credits. The endpoint reference is on the docs page.
What is not here
n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, LlamaIndex and CrewAI can all reach an HTTP API, so they can reach ours. They are not listed because we have no worked example running inside any of them — and a page that says "compatible" without one is asking you to take our word for the part you cannot check. When there is an example, there will be a page.
ChatGPT takes remote MCP servers too, through its developer API rather than a client config file. We have not written that one up yet.
The 5 anonymous tools work with no key. The rest read real profiles, and those spend credits.
